Remote Account Manager Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of small business clients, acting as their trusted advisor for financial matters.
- Oversee all aspects of client bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to clients.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and deadlines.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve client financial processes and efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless and integrated services.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero) and other relevant tools.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar role within the accounting/bookkeeping field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and accounting client management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and highly accurate.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with small businesses is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
- Annual Salary: $45,000 – $65,000 (commensurate with experience)
